I worked at a job that required A LOT of the same style animations to be applied over A LOT of different projects. To eliminate repetition, easy ease keyframes, and messing with speed graphs, I created a collection of simple presets and made nine (9) pseudo plugin scripts. I also had to animate dollars, cents, and percentages. So, again, quick presets/expressions to add to layers aimed to get y’all up and running quickly. Hopefully, they help!
These were created using After Effects 2020 and tested in After Effects 2022
OVER TROOPER SHOOTER
This simple custom preset allows you to adjust simple inertia movement based on the POSITION of the layer. Amplitude, Frequency, and Decay. Just key frame a start point and end point. And MAKE IT BOUNCE!
COME AT ME BRO
This simple custom preset allows you to adjust simple inertia movement based on the SCALE of the layer. Amplitude, Frequency, and Decay. Just key frame a start point and end point. And MAKE IT BOUNCE!
X-SWINGER 3D LITE

Y-SWINGER 3D LITE
This simple custom preset allows you to adjust simple inertia movement based on the 3D POSITION of the layers Y Coordinates. Amplitude, Frequency, and Decay. Just key frame a start point and end point. and MAKE IT BOUNCE!
GRANDMA'S WALLET LITE
This simple custom preset allows you to adjust and animate simple math in Dollars and Cents. Since this is Grandma’s Wallet Lite, she keeps under $1,000 in her purse. Grandma’s are rad!
GRANDMA'S WALLET PRO

OK BOOMER MATH
This simple custom preset allows the Boomer in all of us to be OK. This add’s a Percentage (%) to the equations, or you can choose Dollars. It also rounds UP to the nearest number. Because – Boomers…
CURSING TEXT
So, you need to have text animate on the screen simulating a typing action? Need a blank blinking cursor? Yer boy gotcha! I will say that 0-100 can be sensitive. As you can see in the example, it only took 12 points to animate the entire string of text. Handy tip: The Typing Text relates to the number of characters in the text string, including spacing.
FADED
Here’s a simple little preset that FADES IN and OUT based on the duration of the layer. Specify how many frame you want the fade to last and trim that bad boy to desired length!
